The history of Lasky Cooper Law mirrors the legal career of its founding member, Jeffrey W. Lasky. Since 1981, Mr. Lasky has practiced law in the same beautifully restored building (Built in 1851) located at 120 West Liberty Street in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. After Mr. Lasky graduated from the University of Georgia Law School he started his career as a first year associate at the firm of Ashman and Zipperer.
Jeffrey W. Lasky

Jeffrey W. Lasky is the managing partner and lead litigator for Lasky Cooper Law. Since graduating law school in 1981, Mr. Lasky has focused his professional efforts almost exclusively on personal injury litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Lasky has only represented individuals and their families who have been injured or killed as a result of the negligence of others. He has focused his practice on representing victims of catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, trucking/automobile negligence, nursing home negligence, sexual abuse of minors and product liability. Mr. Lasky utilizes state-of-the-art technology in all of his trials and mediation presentations. Mr. Lasky has an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available for competency and ethics. Every year since 2006, Mr. Lasky has been listed as one of the top 5% of the lawyers in the State of Georgia in the Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Lasky has also received recognition and awards from The National Trial Lawyers Association, National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, The American Society of Legal Advocates, and The National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

Arthur L. Cooper was a founding partner of Lasky Cooper Law who tragically passed away in late 2016 after a short illness. Mr. Cooper’s core principle that guided how he practiced law was to “Walk Like You Mean It.” This philosophy continues to emanate through the halls of Lasky Cooper Law, and is one of the reasons for the law firm’s decades of success. When in practice, he focused his career on helping individuals who had been injured by the negligence of others. Mr. Cooper took a tremendous amount of pride in his ability to resolve claims without having to file a lawsuit, which saved his clients the time and stress of lengthy litigation. Mr. Cooper specialized in catastrophic injury cases, wrongful death cases, and major auto/truck accidents. Federal Courts of Georgia since 1979. He has focused his career on helping individuals who have been injured by the negligence of others. Mr. Cooper takes a tremendous amount of pride in his ability to resolve claims. Brian E. Krapf

Born and raised in Savannah, Brian E. Krapf heads his own litigation trial team and is a partner in the firm. He has been selected as one of the Georgia Top 100 by the National Trial Lawyers Association every year since 2012 and is an active member of NTLA’s Nursing Home Litigation specialty association. Mr. Krapf has received awards from the American Academy of Trial Attorneys, American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and America’s Top 100 Attorneys. Since graduating law school in 1991, Mr. Krapf has focused his practice on the representation of hard-working people who have suffered physical, mental or emotional injuries through the negligence of other individuals or corporations. While Mr. Krapf handles varying types of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, his specialty areas of practice include nursing home abuse and neglect; premises liability, making property owners accept responsibility for preventable rapes, deaths and serious physical injuries; dental malpractice and injuries; and traumatic brain injuries.
Donald W. Ramsey

Originally from North Carolina, Don Ramsey has practiced law in Savannah since 1983 with the firm now known as Lasky Cooper Law. The Social Security Section of the firm is led by Mr. Ramsey along with Section team member. Paralegal Becky Harshman. Mr. Ramsey also represents Veterans for any of their legal needs, having served in the U.S. Air Force and the Georgia Air National Guard for (6) six years. Mr. Ramsey represents injured workers in Workers Compensation cases as well as all other types of injury and death cases.
Daniel C. Justus
Daniel C. Justus joined the firm in April 2015 and has focused his practice on personal injury litigation. He earned his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2014. While at John Marshall, Mr. Justus served as Executive Chairman of the Trial Advocacy Team and Executive Vice-Chairman of the Moot Court Honor Board. During his tenure with these organizations, Mr. Justus was a member of five national law school trial competition teams including John Marshall’s first ever Georgia Intrastate Championship team. He won numerous advocacy awards both for competition performances and at his graduation. Mr. Justus has been honored by the American Institute of Legal Advocates as a “Personal Injury Rising Star”, by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the 10 Best Personal Injury Attorneys for Client Satisfaction, and as Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. In 2018 he was selected for entry into the Georgia Trial Lawyer Association’s LEAD program. Admission to LEAD is highly competitive with stringent requirements. The program’s purpose is to build strong relationships between Georgia’s youngest and most promising trial lawyers from all four corners of our state and ultimately to better prepare tomorrow’s leaders today. Mr. Justus is a member of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Florida International University.
Darryl I. Lasky
Darryl I. Lasky has been with the firm in several capacities since 2011. In May 2016, he became licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia. He has focused his practice on auto/truck accidents, personal injury litigation, and contract disputes. He was born and grew up here in Savannah, Georgia. He attended high school at St. Andrew’s School on Wilmington Island. Mr. Lasky graduated with a degree from the University of Colorado and earned his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
Prior to getting licensed to practice law, Mr. Lasky was a legal intern at the State Court of Chatham County with the Honorable Hermann Coolidge.
In 2017, Mr. Lasky was honored by the American Institute of Legal Advocates as a “Personal Injury Rising Star.”
When he is not advocating for his clients, Mr. Lasky enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and playing music.
Jonathan P. Moody
Jonathan P. Moody joined the firm in February 2016 and has focused his practice on personal injury litigation. A lifetime Savannah native, Jonathan attended high school at Calvary Day School in the heart of midtown Savannah, where he graduated in 2004. Before deciding to attend law school, he worked with his grandfather, father, and brother at the family-owned and operated Hutson Plumbing Company located across the street from the historic Bonaventure Cemetery in Thunderbolt, Georgia, a short walk down the road from the house in which he grew up. He earned his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2014 and his Bachelor of Arts in English from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2011.
Before joining the team at Lasky Cooper Law, Jonathan was a summer associate of Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly, a personal injury and workers’ compensation firm, during his first summer of law school; during his second summer and his first year of practice, Jonathan practiced law with William G. Maston, P.C., a local general practitioner. Jonathan married his wife and fellow local lawyer Assistant District Attorney Lindy Moody, in October of 2015. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys playing golf and is a proud member of the Savannah Golf Club.
